Addy’s short but spectacular rowing career indicates that there is much more to come.
Her career highlight is the bronze medal at the Under 23 World Championships where they rowed through the field from fifth to third. However she readily remembers with glee the 2015 Victorian Queens Cup win with the senior girls.

The influences on her career? Her mother Addy Bucek, a dual Olympian in sailing, encouraged Addy to pursue sport and provided her with the commitment and passion for it. She also looks up to her older brother Josh who she regards as a humble, intelligent, generous and loving brother who has also had a spectacular rowing career.
