Tom Creber

Tom Creber is the lead coach for our Youth Women's Squad. Tom's passion for rowing and athlete development is a tremendous asset to Mercantile, bringing a wealth of experience from both high-performance pathways and the schoolboy rowing scene.

Tom concurrently serves as the First VIII coach at Brighton Grammar. Before his time at Brighton, he coached at the ACT Academy of Sport, contributing to their high-performance pathway and shaping the next generation of athletes.

With an athlete-first approach, Tom believes in optimizing training to suit individual needs, fostering an environment where hard work and collaboration lead to success. He is passionate about creating a culture where athletes enjoy working together toward both shared and individual goals. Tom's coaching philosophy is exemplified by his impressive record:

  • 2023 Interstate PR3 1x Champion

  • 2022 National LM8+ Champions

Tom's vision for the upcoming season is to build a high-quality squad dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for those who are willing to wholeheartedly commit to the program and the broader club.
