The historic Murray Rowing Association Regatta (est 1860) was again conducted on Lake Moodemere and this time last weekend, not the usually later time slot. The milder weather proved to be a great hit with those present.

Mercantile member and also Rutherglen Lake Rowing Club President Paul Somerville again played a key role running the regatta and this year supported by the wider Somerville clan.

Caitlin and Claire also jumped in a double and won on Sunday inbetween their other duties.

And Brigit Somerville took on the commentary so well, she was signed up for the Scotch Mercantile Regatta.

Seperately Bill Webster took on the regatta secretary role and Andrew Guerin was a member of the jury.
