NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE 146th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MERCANTILE ROWING CLUB INC. WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY 21th NOVEMBER 2026 AT 6PM AT THE BOATHOUSE
BUSINESS:
1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 13th November, 2025.
2. To receive and consider the Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 30th June 2026.
3. To elect the Members of the Committee for the ensuing year.
4. General Business
a. Recognition of trophy and award winners.
b. Any other General Business that may legally be brought forward.
The meeting shall be followed by light refreshments.
Nominations for Office Bearers and Members of the Committee for the ensuing year close on Thursday 14th November 2026 at 6pm. Please submit nominations by email to secretary@mercantile.org.au and note the nominator and seconder as well as the approval of the person nominated.
Please note: Members of the Committee may be allocated a responsibility for the forthcoming year.They will include:
· Marketing
· Community and Alumni Development
· High Performance.(The Committee would like a representative from the High-Performance squad)
· Communications/Social media.(Responsibilities to manage website, Newsletter and Instagram.
· Clubbies
If you have an interest on one of these areas, please get involved and let the secretary know on your application.

Members may lodge a proxy containing the information in the following form. Proxies need to be received by the Secretary no later than 24 hours before the meeting either by mail or by email to secretary@mercantile.org.au.
